Island is the start of the idea of this spa to prevent from the old school straight narrow corridor like what we have now. Island

is usually break apart by the river and also there is forest in the island. 

 

In the picture below is the manicure area and the table are connected from floor to ceiling to act as a tree or forest in the island which is now the manicure island.

In the second image floor plan give you more and better understanding of the island concept with the zigzag corridor in the middle act as the the river to separate the manicure island and the make over island which located right opposite of manicure island.
